5 MYTHS ABOUT DIET
There are many people who have wrong perception of diet. They still believe in some myths although it is not always true. These are five myths of diet.
- Diet means Prohibition
Many people think that diet means prohibit some kinds of foot or no food to eat. In fact, diet means manage eating pattern including the quality, quantity, food processing, and food frequency. Diet also means controlling which food you are allowed to eat and which one you are not.
Reducing fat does not influence body fat, but reducing your meal will make your body tired and weak although you have succeeded to reduce body weight.
- Breakfast Increases Body Weight
Breakfast will not only cause body weight increasing. Usually, people just consume some food for breakfast and it will be used as energy for doing your activity. So, there will be very low fat amount.
Breakfast is better to have before 07.00 in the morning and have food containing high calorie for your activity.
- Avoid Dinner
When you have dinner to reduce body weight, many people avoid having dinner because it is assumed to increase fat and body weight. It can be true if you consume heavy food as rice with complete meal.
You are better to have fruit or low fat milk and wheat grain with nut jam.
- Thin means Body Weight Reduction
Many people think that when getting thin, they have reduced body weight. It may be true, but you have to realize than thin body shape will make you weak and tired. Therefore, the most important thing is reducing body fat, not reducing body weight. It is much better to reduce body fat than to reduce body weight.
- Effective Liquid Diet
Liquid diet is conducted by consuming fruit and vegetable. It is allowed, but it is able to reduce nutrition for body. It is better to use juicer to make fruit and vegetable juice not blender because it give high calorie juice.
