1. Matte

Matte lipstick has dry texture, so that it will create no glossy impression. This lipstick is called matte lipstick because it does not have high moisturizer and oil. So, it will create natural doff impression.

There are various color offered, but it is usually dominant with light and dare color. So, it is suitable to create more sensual lip. However, this kind of lipstick is easy to make lip dry and rough. So, it is suggested applying lip balm containing high vitamin E before applying matte lipstick to keep lip moisturizer.

2. Lacquer

Lacquer is kind of lipstick with gel as basic material and it is usually packaged in a bottle or small place with various color. As result, you will get soft and smooth lip.

3. Satin

This kind of lipstick has very soft texture and it is packaged as stick or liquid with various colors. Besides, it can cover your lip perfectly and give shine effect without oil.

4. Frost Lipstick (Pearly)

Frost lipstick or pearly contains glitter, so that it can create shiny effect when it gets lamp light. So, it is suitable to apply at night. The effect of glitter will be suitable for party occasion or hang out at night.

As matte lipstick, frost lipstick can make your lip dry. So, do not forget to apply lip balm or lip vitamin to keep it healthy and moisturized.

5. Shimmer

This kind of lipstick is same as frost or pearly lipstick containing glitter. However, it is like sand which is able to complete your lip shape.

6. Sheer

Sheer lipstick contains moisturizer, so that it is able to keep your lip moisturizer and give shiny effect.

7. Creamy

This kind of creamy lipstick is basically same as sheer lipstick containing moisturizer. However, it neither gives shiny effect nor dry lip effect. Besides, creamy lipstick contains wax than other lipstick color. So, it is able to protect lip from sun light radiation, air, and pollution.

Wax amount makes creamy lipstick gives wet effect. So, it is very suitable for women who want to appear naturally. Besides, it is more suitable to apply for thin lip. However, it may make your lip easy to get dry.

8. Lip Care or Lip Vitamin

Lip care or lip vitamin is combination between lip color and lip vitamin which is packaged as stick. Lip care has soft texture containing moisturizer giving shiny effect for lip.

How to Select Good Lipstick

          In spite of considering kinds of lipstick, there are several things you have to consider when you select lipstick.

1. Select lipstick made of natural substance, so that you can keep your lipstick healthy.
2. Select lipstick based on your activity and your necessity. If you have high activity, you are better applying long wearing lipstick.
3. Apply lipstick having clear composition, especially if you have sensitive skin which is easy to get injured.
4. Match lipstick color to your clothe and do not apply lipstick based of recent trend without considering your character. If you like light color of clothe for instance, you can apply light color of lipstick. As reverse, if you like to wear elegant color, apply calm lipstick color.
