Using food as medicine for certain disease has been practiced by Chinese people for several years ago. Chinese therapy is categorized as special major and it becomes more popular in Tang Dynasty (608 – 906).

Along Chinese history, medical manner was not the responsibility of nation, but it is responsibility of each individual. Then, Chinese people try to find natural source that can be used as medicine when they got sick. So, preventive of disease therapy becomes popular in China. Consuming good and healthy food becomes everyone’s obsession and very respectful in family.  

Several years ago, Chinese people found some daily food which is able to be medicine. Based on this knowledge, food becomes the first protector of any kind disease. Chinese people will see the doctor when they feel that food can not recover or heal their disease.

Chinese therapy used food and traditional ingredient as medicine. in order to increase the ability of medicine they have, they must consume suitable food to the medicine. When, the disease can be controlled, they tend to continue with good and healthy food until the disease is totally recovered. Food therapy is also used to increase immunity system and to prevent disease in the future. Food therapy also helps to keep people health and to prevent patient condition. These are several foods which is useful for our health condition.  

Large Onion              : It is very effective to heal asthma and reduce bronchial line problem.

Fish                       : fish as Salmon, Tuna, Mackerel, and Sardine are able to heal arthritis problem. Salmon and other oily fish contains fatty acid omega 3 which is good for body immunity system.

Cranberry Juice       : it may solve bladder infection because it contains high acid controlling dangerous bacteria.

Broccoli and Chestnut: that food can help us to balance and control glucose because it contains Chromium as in broccoli and chestnut helping to control insulin.

Pineapple               : it may help us to solve bone fracture and osteoporoses and can absorb mangan containing in pineapple. 

Wheat, Bran, and Cabbage: this food may prevent us from the risk of breast cancer because it can help to keep estrogen in healthy amount.

Avocado                 : it may prevent artery problem because mono non-trans fat containing in avocado may reduce cholesterol. 

Garlic                         : garlic may prevent us from influenza, so you can prevent flue with garlic and also reduce cholesterol.

Cabbage                : it may prevent the risk of colon cancer. A kind of substance containing in brassica vegetable as cabbage, Brussel sprouts, kale, and wasabi may slow the growth of colon cancer.

Apple                     : apple may heal diarrhea. You may slice an apple with the skin and let it brown and then eat it to stop diarrhea. Banana is also good to solve this problem.

Fish                       :  Fish can be used to heal headache. Besides, consuming a lot of fish and fish oil may help to reduce headache and so does ginger.

Celery and Olive Oil: olive oil can be used to reduce high blood pressure. celery contains chemical substance reducing blood pressure too. A substance containing in broccoli and broccoli sprouts may reduce the risk of high blood pressure, cardiovascular, and stroke.

Honey                        : it becomes the solution for insomnia because honey can be use to relax our body and also as sedative substance.

Green Vegetable and Orange Vegetable : green vegetable and orange vegetable can be used to heal lung cancer because of beta carotene and vitamin A containing.

Snail                           : it helps to strengthen our memory and increase the function of mental function and supply necessary zinc.

Cornflakes                : it may reduce the symptom of pre-menstruation. The effect of PMS can be prevented with cornflakes. It can help to reduce depression, anxiety, and tired.

Tea                             : tea may prevent stroke and also may prevent fat accumulation in artery. Besides, it may press appetite for food and prevent body weight increasing. Green tea is good for immunity system. 

Cabbage                    : it is good to prevent ulcer because it contains chemical substance healing gastric and duodenal ulcer.
