GOOD EXERCISE BASED ON BODY SHAPE
Various kind of exercise makes us confused to select good and suitable exercise for us, especially exercise used to reduce body weight. In fact, wrong selection of exercise may make us hard to reduce our body weight. So, it is suggested to have exercise which is suitable with our body shape.
Different body shape has different amount of fat cells, so that it needs different exercise to do to reduce fat amount from our body. Generally, human body shape is categorized into three, endomorph, mesomorph, and ectomorph.
Endomorph Body Shape
Endomorph body type has the biggest fat cells amount. People with this body type are usually easy to get body weight. This body type has endomorph body characters as circle body shape, big stomach, big bone structure, low muscle mass, and wider waist.
This body type has slow body metabolism, so that body reduction process will run slowly. However, it does not mean that people with this body type can not have good beautiful body shape.
In order to get beautiful body shape, endomorph body type have to select activity or exercise which burns more fat directly in fat cell as several exercise below:
- walking
- Biking
- Swimming
- Cardio exercise
- Step Aerobic
Another activity that may increase fat burning process are:
- Doing house chores
- Doing plantation
- Washing car
- Walking to mall
Ektomorph Body Shape
It is different from endomorph body shape. People having this body style are hard to increase body weight because they have fast metabolism. They usually have thin body posture, low fat cell, muscle mass, long hand and foot.
In order to have beautiful body, you need to do exercise that may increase body muscle density as squat, dead lift, bench-press. We can do it in step with suitable weight. Besides, you need to limit activity that may burn more calorie. So you can increase your body weight.
Mesomorph Body Shape
This body style tends to be described as athletics body shape and usually has beautiful body shape. This body style usually has solid muscle and big bone, narrow body waist, and wide shoulder.
People having this body style have to apply regular healthy diet and have regular exercise. If we do not have regular exercise, our body shape will be easy to a change. The best exercise for people with mesomorph body shape is 30 – 45 minutes cardio exercise regularly for 3 – 5 days in a week. Besides, we can try weight training twice in a week to increase muscle density without increase the size. Cardio exercise functions to remove more fat supplied.
Balance with Diet
In spite of doing exercise, diet is also important to get beautiful body shape. These are some diet suggestion based on people body shape categories:
- Endomorph
The best diet that can be applied is high protein diet, but low carbohydrate. This diet program helps our body to supply amino acid for our muscle and to burn more fat. You are better to eat five until six times in a day with small portion to keep our body stamina.
- Ektomorph
If you intend to increase your body weight, high protein with high carbohydrate diet is necessary for you. You need to have nutritionist consultation to measure how much calories your body needs.
- Mesomorph
Suggested diet for this type of body is balance protein and carbohydrate diet to keep body condition balance.
