HELP YOUR CHILDREN TO FACE THEIR NAUGHTY FRIEND
Nowadays, children grow in hard culture and hard life. At school, they face good, friendly, sweet, and reverse hard and naughty friend. Sometimes, our children are able to have good relationship with all types of friend, but sometimes they have to face friend with hard character or friend who has big house and wide swimming pool. This social factor may reduce our children confidence unconsciously. Besides, children getting over weight also get difficulty in building relationship with their friend because they tend to be under estimated.
Good friend is the one who will be able for all condition and situation, receive our children personality and character, and responsible toward themselves. You as parent must teach them that performance does not show how real their friend is. Introduce your children ethnic difference, religion, and body shape.
Besides, parent must give kind of example of social relationship and they will pay attention on how you build relationship to other person. Then, you also need to pay attention on your children’s diet and ask your children to have healthy food and do exercise. Do not give exercise that they do not like to do because it may cause depression.
Be Good Listener
When your children look disappointed and in bad mood, you can ask them and listen to them. Let them know that you understand how their feeling is and how hard to have relationship with other friend wearing better clothes.
Take an Action
Showing sympathy will not be able to solve this problem, but you have to take an action. You can think exercise program to increase calorie burning, to tighten calorie burning, to increase your speed, or to increase your hand creativity. Your children probably like to swim or to jog around your house. Besides, you also can give suggestion how to wear good clothe as their body type.
Besides, you also can prepare healthy food and ask them to have meal at home. This strategy will not only help your children to apply healthy life style, but also to reduce their body weight systematically.
New Clothe and New Hair Style
You can consider to buy them new clothe or ask them to have new hair style. This strategy will build their confidence.
Give Support
You have to give support for your children to focus on their strength as their intellectuality, good attitude, and good behavior. Support your children to have new activity, new group, new lesson, and new course. Let them have wide social relationship, so that they will not feel quite.
Ask Professional Help
When children have bigger sorrow than enjoyment, you may consider asking professional help. Listening to other person sometimes helps our children to improve themselves. If you do not have nutrition information, you may ask your whole family to have consultation to a nutritionist. All family member will get the advantage of healthy food at home.
Open Discussion
You may have open discussion with your children about how to solve problem with friend at school. Support your children to build relation with all friends and ask their teacher to do it.
Helping your children to face their friend who under estimate them is not easy thing. So, you are better to listen to them and to try to be communicative and supportive in helping your children feel better physically and emotionally.
